Inside Job

Sometimes it takes an unconventional way to get across what, normally, is a conventional message to a reading audience. OT can be colloquial, folksy, fragmented and self-deprecating. But, at the same time, it gets its ideas across that to go from professional sports to the real world, there may be some abnormal and unfamiliar steps. When the words of encouragement and guidance come from peers, you tend to take heed a lot faster than if it's from a total stranger. The talk isn't over your head. It looks you straight in the eye. OT works just as well for the fan of sports, giving the outsider a look through an insider's perspective. The athlete dressed in the jersey turns in to someone in street clothes that you walk along side, and don't just see on the field of play. Keep on going, guys.
